RESUMO

O cisto linfoepitelial é relativamente incomum na cavidade oral sendo aparentemente o resultado da degeneração cística e inclusões epiteliais em agregados linfóides da cavidade. Esta entidade foi descrita como um pseudocisto apresentando tecido amigdaliano. Os autores relatam dois casos de cisto linfoepitelial na cavidade bucal.

ABSTRACT

The oral lymphoepithelial cyst is an uncommon developmental lesion that is frequently an incidental finding during a routine dental examination. It apparently the result of cystic degeneration of epithelial inclusions in lymphoid aggregates in the oral cavity. The authors report two cases of lymphoepithelial cyst.
